حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَيْتَ هُوَ وَبِلَالٌ وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ فَأَجَافُوا الْبَ
ابَ وَمَكَثُوا سَاعَةً ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَلَمَّا فُتِحَ كُنْتُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ دَخَلَ فَسَأَلْتُ بِلَالًا أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ الْمُقَدَّمَيْنِ وَنَسِيتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ كَمْ صَلَّى
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah, Nafi' narrated to me, from 'Abdullah [Ibn 'Umar] (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the Ka'bah — he, Bilal, Usamah ibn Zayd, and 'Uthman ibn Talhah, the keeper. They closed the door behind them, and he stayed inside for some time. I was the first to ask Bilal when he came out: 'What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do?' He said: 'He prayed, placing a pillar to his left, a pillar to his right, and three pillars behind him. The House at that time had six pillars.'
