حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ وَالْعُمَرِيُّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from Sufyan, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar; and from al-'Umari, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the dhabb [large desert lizard] and said: 'I will not eat it and I will not forbid it.'
