‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَنَا ‏ ‏سُلَيْمَانُ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فِي السَّفَرِ حَيْثُمَا تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ فِي السَّفَرِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Salama, from Sulayman, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he used to pray on his riding camel during travel, whichever direction it turned, and he mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ used to do this during travel.
