English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Salama, from Malik, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wear a gold ring. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up, threw it away, and said: 'I will never wear it again.' And the people threw their rings away.
