حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّ
ى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ ثَوْبًا صُبِغَ بِوَرْسٍ أَوْ زَعْفَرَانٍ وَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ نَعْلَانِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ الْخُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muslim, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the person in ihram from wearing a garment dyed with wars [yellow dye] or saffron. He also said: 'Whoever cannot find sandals, let him wear leather socks and cut them below the ankles.'
