حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد

ُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُشِيرُ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ وَيَقُولُ هَا إِنَّ الْفِتَنَ هَاهُنَا إِنَّ الْفِتَنَ هَاهُنَا حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muslim, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointing to the east and saying: "Indeed, the trials [al-fitan] are here — indeed, the trials are here, where the horn of Shaytan rises."'
