English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Bahz, from Shu'ba, from Anas ibn Sirin — that he said: 'I heard Ibn 'Umar say: "Ibn 'Umar divorced his wife while she was menstruating. 'Umar mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Let him take her back until she becomes pure, then divorce her.'"' He [Anas] said: 'I asked: "Is it counted [as a valid divorce]?"' He said: '"So what [if it is]?"'
