‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَفَّانُ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرَةِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muslim, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling fruit until its soundness [ripeness] becomes apparent.
