English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Salim — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever sells a date palm that has already been pollinated — its fruit belongs to the seller. And whoever sells a slave who has property — that property belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates [otherwise]."'
