حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ فَصَّ خَاتَمِهِ مِمَّا يَلِي بَطْنَ كَفِّهِ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Wasiti, from 'Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja'far al-Ansari, from Nafi' — from the Prophet ﷺ — that he used to position the stone [bezel] of his ring toward the inside of his palm.
