‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَبُو كَامِلٍ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَنَا ‏ ‏حَمَّادٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ كَأَنَّ الْأَذَانَ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Kamil, from Hammad, from Anas ibn Sirin — that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray the two rak'as [sunnah] before Fajr prayer as if the adhan were in his ears [with great alertness and promptness].
