حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ الْهَادِ
اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَبَرَّ الْبِرِّ صِلَةُ الْمَرْءِ أَهْلَ وُدِّ أَبِيهِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يُوَلِّيَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hashim ibn al-Qasim, from al-Layth, from Yazid ibn 'Abdullah ibn Usama ibn al-Had al-Laythi, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The most righteous act of piety is a man's maintaining ties with the loved ones of his father after his father has passed."'
