English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Bakr, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Umar, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave permission to al-'Abbas ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib — who had sought the Prophet ﷺ's (ﷺ) permission — to spend the nights of Mina in Mecca on account of his [duty of] siqaya [providing water to pilgrims]. He granted him the permission.
