حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْهَادِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَ
الَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّارُ عَدُوٌّ فَاحْذَرُوهَا قَالَ فَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَتَتَبَّعُ نِيرَانَ أَهْلِهِ فَيُطْفِئُهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبِيتَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sa'id, from Yazid ibn al-Had, from Nafi' — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Fire is an enemy — so beware of it."' And 'Abdullah used to go around to the fires [lit] in his household and extinguish them before he slept.
