حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ

وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنْ قِبَلِ حَضْرَمَوْتَ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ قَالَ قُلْنَا فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالشَّأْمِ

English Translation

Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Aban ibn Yazid narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Qilabah, from Salim, from his father (Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Bilal calls the adhan during the night, so eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum calls [the second adhan].'
