حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ

عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ حَفِظْتُ مِنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ

English Translation

Rawh narrated to us, Ibn 'Awn narrated to us, from Muhammad, from al-Mughirah ibn Salman, who said: Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) said: 'I memorized from the Prophet ﷺ ten rak'ahs [of voluntary prayer]: two rak'ahs before Dhuhr and two after it, two rak'ahs after Maghrib in his house, two rak'ahs after 'Isha in his house, and two rak'ahs before Fajr.'
