حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ حَاتِمِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ امْرَأَ

ةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ بِمِنًى عَلَيْهَا دِرْعُ حَرِيرٍ فَقَالَتْ مَا تَقُولُ فِي الْحَرِيرِ فَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْهُ

English Translation

Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Yunus Hatim ibn Muslim: 'I heard a man from Quraysh say: "I saw a woman come to Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) at Mina wearing chain-mail armor. He said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The woman who wears men's clothing, and the man who wears women's clothing, are not of us.'"'
