English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Shaqiq al-'Uqayli, from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that a man from the Bedouins asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the night prayer. He said: 'Two by two. When you fear the dawn approaching, pray one rak'ah as witr for what you have prayed.'
