حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَرْمُلُ مِنْ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ وَيُخْبِرُنَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ص
َلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ فَذَكَرُوا لِنَافِعٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَمْشِي مَا بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ قَالَ مَا كَانَ يَمْشِي إِلَّا حِينَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَسْتَلِمَ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Sulaym ibn Akhdar narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi' who said: Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) used to do raml [brisk walking] from the Black Stone to the Black Stone, and he would inform us that the Prophet ﷺ used to do so.
