Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said: 'A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was on the minbar about the night prayer. He said: "Two by two. And when one of you fears that dawn is approaching, let him pray one rak'ah as witr for what he has prayed."'
