حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الل

َّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ الْمُحْرِمُ النَّعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبِسْ الْخُفَّيْنِ يَقْطَعُهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Mu'ammal, from Sufyan, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he heard Ibn 'Umar say: 'I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "If the muhrim [one in the state of ihram] cannot find sandals, let him wear leather socks — cutting them below the ankles."'
