English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hasan, from Ibn Lahi'a, from Abu Tu'ma — that he said: 'I heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) say: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to al-Mirbad [a camel yard] and I went out with him. I was on his right, then Abu Bakr came and I stepped back for him and he was on his right while I was on his left. Then 'Umar came and I moved aside for him and he was on [his] left. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived at al-Mirbad and there were leather wine-skins on it. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called me and asked for the mudya [knife] — and I had not known what a mudya was before that day. He commanded the leather skins to be slit, then said: 'Wine is cursed — the one who drinks it, the one who pours it, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who carries it, the one it is carried to, the one who presses it, the one who has it pressed, and the one who consumes its price.'"' — [Second chain:] via Waki', from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz, from Abu Tu'ma their mawla and from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abdullah al-Ghafiqi — that both heard Ibn 'Umar say: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Wine is cursed in ten ways..."' [and he mentioned the hadith].
