English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Sulayman ibn Dawud, from Ibrahim ibn Sa'd, from al-Zuhri; and Ya'qub, from his father, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The keys of the unseen are five" — [then he recited]: "Indeed, Allah has knowledge of the Hour; He sends down the rain, and He knows what is in the wombs. And no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Aware" [31:34].'
