Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ رَ
سُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَلَا إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا مَاتَ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ مَقْعَدُهُ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ حَتَّى يَبْعَثَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yunus, from Layth, from Nafi' — from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: 'Lo! When one of you dies, his seat [in the Hereafter] is shown to him morning and evening. If he is among the people of Paradise, [he sees] a place among the people of Paradise; if he is among the people of Hellfire, [he sees] a place among the people of Hellfire — until Allah (تعالى) resurrects him on the Day of Resurrection.'
