حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ وَلَا أَع

ْلَمُهُ إِلَّا مَرْفُوعًا قَوْلُهُ { يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ } قَالَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى فِي الرَّشْحِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ آذَانِهِمْ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yunus, from Hammad ibn Zayd, from Ayyub, from Nafi' — from the Prophet ﷺ — Hammad said: I believe it is narrated with a raised chain — regarding the verse: '"The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds" [83:6]': 'People will stand on the Day of Resurrection before the Lord of the Worlds (تبارك وتعالى) in their sweat up to halfway up their ears.'
