حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْ

نَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءً يُعْرَفُ بِقَدْرِ غَدْرَتِهِ وَإِنَّ أَكْبَرَ الْغَدْرِ غَدْرُ أَمِيرِ عَامَّةٍ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yunus, from Hammad ibn Salama, from Bishr ibn Harb — that he said: 'I heard Ibn 'Umar say: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'For every treacherous person there is a banner by which he is known according to the extent of his treachery. And the greatest treachery is the treachery of a ruler over the general public.'"'
