حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ الن
َّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا حَلَفَ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَمْضِ وَإِنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَتْرُكْ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَعَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from Wuhayb, from Ayyub, from Nafi' — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'When a man takes an oath and says "if Allah wills" [in sha' Allah], he has the option: if he wishes he may proceed, and if he wishes he may leave it.' — [A second chain via 'Affan, from Hammad ibn Salama and 'Abd al-Warith, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet ﷺ — the same.]
