حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْد

ُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كَانَ أَحَبَّ الْأَسْمَاءِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Wahhab ibn 'Ata', from 'Abdullah, from Nafi' — that he said: 'The most beloved names to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were 'Abdullah and 'Abd al-Rahman.'
