‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَنْظَلَةُ ‏ ‏سَمِعْتُ ‏ ‏سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ ‏ ‏عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏يَقُولُ ‏ ‏سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏يَقُولُ ‏ ‏مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ ‏ ‏خُيَلَاءَ ‏ ‏لَمْ يَنْظُرْ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Makki ibn Ibrahim, from Hanzala — that he heard Salim ibn 'Abdullah say: 'I heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar say: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever drags his garment out of arrogance — Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.'"'
