حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا وَيُسْنِدُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu al-Mughira, from al-Awza'i, from al-Muttalib ibn 'Abdullah ibn al-Muttalib al-Makhzumi — that 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar used to perform wudu three times for each [limb], and would attribute that to the Prophet ﷺ.
