‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏يَعْقُوبُ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَبِي ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنِي ‏ ‏الزُّهْرِيُّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِيهِ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏يَنْهَى النَّاسَ أَنْ يَأْكُلُوا لُحُومَ ‏ ‏نُسُكِهِمْ ‏ ‏فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ya'qub, from his father, from Ibn Ishaq, from al-Zuhri, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah, from his father — that he told him that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid people from eating the meat of their sacrificial animals [nusuk] for more than three days.
