Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَحَمْزَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَاهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمَا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الشُّؤْمُ فِي الْفَرَسِ وَالدَّارِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ibrahim ibn Abi al-'Abbas, from Abu Uways, from al-Zuhri — that Salim ibn 'Abdullah and Hamza ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar told him, from their father — that he told them that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Ill-omen [shu'm] is in the horse, the dwelling, and the woman.'
