حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ عَبْ
دِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ الْعَامِرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ سُئِلُوا عَنْ الْعُمْرَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَجِّ فِي الْمُتْعَةِ فَقَالُوا نَعَمْ سُنَّةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَقْدَمُ فَتَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ثُمَّ تَحِلُّ وَإِنْ كَانَ ذَلِكَ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ بِيَوْمٍ ثُمَّ تُهِلُّ بِالْحَجِّ فَتَكُونُ قَدْ جَمَعْتَ عُمْرَةً وَحَجَّةً أَوْ جَمَعَ اللَّهُ لَكَ عُمْرَةً وَحَجَّةً

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ishaq ibn Yusuf, from Sharik, from 'Abdullah ibn Sharik al-'Amiri — that he said: 'I heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar, 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas, and 'Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr being asked about performing 'umra before Hajj in tamattu'. They said: "Yes — it is the sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: you arrive and perform tawaf of the House and [sa'y] between al-Safa and al-Marwa, then exit ihram — even if that is just a day before the Day of 'Arafa. Then you enter ihram for Hajj, and you will have combined 'umra and Hajj, or: Allah will have combined both for you."'
