حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَ

رَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا كَانُوا ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ibn Numayr, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When there are three [of you], two must not hold a private conversation excluding the one.'
