حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْ

دُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ كَذَا قَالَ أَبِي كَانَ النِّسَاءُ وَالرِّجَالُ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَيُشْرِعُونَ فِيهِ جَمِيعًا

English Translation

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi' — thus my father said — that women and men used to perform wudu from a single vessel during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, dipping their hands into it together.
