حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَفْصٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ سَالِ

مٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الَّذِي يَكْذِبُ عَلَيَّ يُبْنَى لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي النَّارِ

English Translation

Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Umar ibn Hafs narrated to us, from Abu Bakr ibn Salim, from his father, from his grandfather (Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If the people knew what was in the call to prayer and the first row, and they could not find any way except by drawing lots, they would draw lots for it.'
