حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَ

نَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ { يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ } { فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ } فِي الرَّشْحِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ آذَانِهِمْ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Mu'ammal, from Hammad ibn Zayd, from Ayyub, from Nafi' — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ [recited the verses]: "The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds" [83:6] and "In a Day whose measure is fifty thousand years" [70:4], and said: "[They will stand] in sweat up to the middle of their ears."'
