English Translation
Muhammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Abd al-Rahim, from al-Jahm ibn al-Jarud, from Salim, from his father (Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما) who said: ''Umar ibn al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) gifted a Bactrian she-camel for which he had been offered three hundred dinars. He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I gifted a Bactrian she-camel, and I was offered three hundred dinars for it. May I buy it back?" He said: "Do not buy it back, and do not take back your charity."'
