حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل
Body (Matn)
َ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ الرَّجُلُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَهُوَ يَعْتَمِدُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Umayyah, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited a man from sitting in prayer resting on his hand' — or he said: 'supporting himself with his hand.'
