حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَرَفَعَ أُصْبُعَهُ الْيُمْنَى الَّتِي تَلِي الْإِبْهَامَ فَدَعَا بِهَا وَيَدُهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ بَاسِطَهَا عَلَيْهَا
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Umar, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he sat in prayer, would place his right hand on his right knee and make a circle with his thumb and middle finger, and point with his index finger, and place his left hand on his left knee.
