حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى بِاللَّيْلِ فَلْيَجْعَلْ آخِرَ صَلَاتِهِ وِتْرًا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلّ
َى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِذَلِكَ فَإِذَا كَانَ الْفَجْرُ فَقَدْ ذَهَبَتْ كُلُّ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ وَالْوَتْرُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ

English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, Sulayman ibn Musa narrated to me, Nafi' narrated to us that Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) used to say: 'Whoever prays at night, let him make the last of his prayers witr before dawn, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command that.'
