Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Nafi' informed me that Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) used to say: 'Whoever prays at night, let him make the last of his prayers witr before dawn, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command that.' Ibn 'Umar used to make the last of his prayers witr at night, at a time when he would stop praying and lie down.
