حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعٍ أَن
َّهُ سَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كُلَّمَا وَضَعَ وَكُلَّمَا رَفَعَ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ

English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Yahya informed me, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban, from his uncle Wasi', that he asked Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he described that he prayed with the opening takbir, raising his hands level with his shoulders, and when he bowed he raised his hands likewise, and he said 'Sami' Allahu li man hamidah, Rabbana wa lakal-hamd.'
