English Translation

Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Ishaq ibn Sa'id al-Qurashi narrated to us, from his father who said: 'I was with Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) when a man came to him and said: "Where are you from?" He said: "From Aslam." He said: "Shall I not give you glad tidings, O brother of Aslam? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Aslam, may Allah grant them peace. Ghifar, may Allah forgive them.'"'
