English Translation

Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Ayyub narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever takes an oath and makes an exception [says "in sha Allah"], then if he wishes he may fulfill it, and if he wishes he may retract it without breaking his oath.'
