English Translation

Hammad ibn Khalid narrated to us, from Abdullah, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that the Prophet ﷺ designated al-Naqi' [a valley near Madinah] as a protected pasture for the horses.' Hammad said: 'I said to him: "For his horses?" He said: "No, for the horses of the Muslims."'
