حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَلَّتَانِ مَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَدْخَلَتَاهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَهُمَا يَسِيرٌ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ قَالُوا وَمَا هُمَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَنْ تَحْمَدَ اللَّهَ وَتُكَبِّرَهُ وَتُسَبِّحَهُ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ عَشْرًا عَشْرًا وَإِذَا أَتَيْتَ إِلَى مَضْجَعِكَ تُسَبِّحُ اللَّهَ وَتُكَبِّرُهُ وَتَحْمَدُهُ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ فَتِلْكَ خَمْسُون
َ وَمِائَتَانِ بِاللِّسَانِ وَأَلْفَانِ وَخَمْسُ مِائَةٍ فِي الْمِيزَانِ فَأَيُّكُمْ يَعْمَلُ فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ أَلْفَيْنِ وَخَمْسَ مِائَةِ سَيِّئَةٍ قَالُوا كَيْفَ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهَا قَلِيلٌ قَالَ يَجِيءُ أَحَدَكُمْ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَيُذَكِّرُهُ حَاجَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَلَا يَقُولُهَا وَيَأْتِيهِ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ فَيُنَوِّمُهُ فَلَا يَقُولُهَا قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْقِدُهُنَّ بِيَدِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنهما) — via Jarir, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from his father — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Two traits — whoever maintains them will enter Paradise. They are easy, yet few people practice them." They said: "What are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Say SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar ten times after every prayer — that is 150 on the tongue and 1500 in the scales. And when you go to your bed, say Allahu Akbar 34 times, SubhanAllah 33 times, and Alhamdulillah 33 times — that is 100 on the tongue and 1000 in the scales. Which of you does 2500 sins in a day and night to outweigh that?"'
