حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُم
َرَ قَالَ سَأَلَ عُمَرُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ تُصِيبُنِي الْجَنَابَةُ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ ذَكَرَهُ وَيَتَوَضَّأَ وَيَرْقُدَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via al-Fadl ibn Dukayn, from Sufyan, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he heard Ibn 'Umar say: ''Umar asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ [about the case where] he became junub [sexually impure] at night. He commanded him to wash his private part, perform wudu, and then sleep.'
