حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ أَبِي الْيَقْظَانِ عَنْ أَبِي

حَرْبِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا أَقَلَّتْ الْغَبْرَاءُ وَلَا أَظَلَّتْ الْخَضْرَاءُ مِنْ رَجُلٍ أَصْدَقَ مِنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ibn Numayr, from al-A'mash, from 'Uthman ibn 'Umayr Abu al-Yaqzan, from Abu Harb ibn Abi al-Aswad — that he said: 'I heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr say: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'The earth has not carried nor has the sky shaded any man more truthful than Abu Dharr — he walks upon the earth in the manner of Jesus son of Mary (عليه السلام).'"'
