Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَ
نْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الرَّحِمَ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِالْعَرْشِ وَلَيْسَ الْوَاصِلُ بِالْمُكَافِئِ وَلَكِنَّ الْوَاصِلَ الَّذِي إِذَا انْقَطَعَتْ رَحِمُهُ وَصَلَهَا

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ya'la, from Fitr, from Mujahid — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The womb [al-rahim] is suspended from the Throne. The true maintainer of kinship [al-wasil] is not the one who merely reciprocates — but the one who, when his kinship ties are severed, reconnects them."'
